P27 – Tone and Form – Exercise – Observing Shadow and Light Formations

I was lucky that it was sunny for this exercise and good shadows were produced on and by the objects.

Two plastic plant pots showing main areas of light and shade

“Draw all the gradations of light you can see on the objects.”

I am happy with the shading on the two plant pots, but the top part of the larger pot should have been narrower. It looks as if the front has been squashed.
