P109 – Project: Proportions – The Longer Pose

Use a unit of measurement that will help you make comparisons. Draw a long pose with your chosen medium. Keep checking the measurements.

I managed to persuade Steve to pose for the quick poses, but he was reluctant to sit for a long pose, so I had to prevail on the Management instead as she watched tv. I used a 4B graphite pencil.

P109-Fig17aCheck and Log:

Have you managed to make a complete statement in this time? What were your main problems?
I was happy with my longer pose done within the suggested time however I found the short two minute quick poses a struggle in the time.

How well have you captured the characteristics of the pose. Do the proportions look right?
I’m happy with this long pose as I had time to ‘get it right’. I’m not so happy with the quicker poses though.
